About Kigamboni and what to see around it
Kigamboni is one of the least frequented beaches of Tanzania’s largest city, Dar es Salaam. Kigamboni Beach has a vast stretch of white sands. Taking an early morning walk before the temperatures get too high can be quite a treat.
Getting to Kigamboni
The resort is easily accessible from Dar es Salaam’s. When visitors touch down, they just need to hop on the ferry from Kivukoni Front and then take a dalla-dalla (shared minibus) to the beach. Alternatively, you can drive to your destination, a journey of around 20 miles.
